The National Weather Service has issued a coastal flood watch for Sunday and Monday as a cold front passes through our area.
While Saturday will remain sunny and windy, the front will begin to move through tonight and into Sunday, bringing coastal flooding, erosion, gusty winds, and heavy rain.
Also, large swells are expected along the beach near the Sebastian Inlet, resulting from distance Hurricane Teddy, causing dangerous surf. The rip current threat will become extreme, with seas reaching 10 to 14 feet.
Windy conditions are expected tonight and through Sunday with gusts of 35 mph.
Starting today, residents should pick up any loose debris in their yards.
Sebastian Daily will update on any extreme weather alerts this weekend.
