Our latest Sebastian Inlet surfing report unveils people of all ages enjoying the waves.
Ava McGowan was seen surfing during an event last weekend on a Gas Pedal Redux board made by Gorkin.
“I like Sebastian Inlet, it’s a beautiful place to come too! I don’t get down there much to surf! It’s very different than New Smyrna! It can be tricky, and I like a challenge! Waves were consistent,” McGowan told Sebastian Daily.
Dave Dixon was seen on a Roberts Surfboard and has been surfing since he was 13-years-old.
“I love surfing the inlet, been surfing there since I was 13,” Dixon said.
Kylie Pulcini, 12, was also seen surfing the waves in Sebastian. She’s a rising star in the surfing world.
“I’m 12 and competed in the invitation-only USA Prime East series in the U16 division. I’m on the USA Developmental Surf Team, so I got to train with the junior Olympic coach before the event. I surf a really old hand-me-down Lost board, it’s the best, and I hope I never grow out of it,” Pulcini told Sebastian Daily.
“I love, love surfing Sebastian Inlet! It’s my favorite spot in Florida! This weekend it was pretty big and pounding, a little scary but still super fun,” Pulcini said.
Grace Knoechel was seen on a 5’9 Black Rose by Ricky Carrol surfboards.
“Sebastian Inlet is one of my favorite waves in Florida. In the right conditions, it can be a very critical and challenging wave but still really fun,” Knoechel told Sebastian Daily.
Shea Erro was surfing on a 5’10 Lost Sub Driver board.
“The waves were fun! Snuck in a couple of fat boy blowouts this morning,” Shea said.
Gavin Coluccio was surfing on a Quiet Flight board.
“It was a super solid weekend of surfing! From barrels to air sections, the waves were on fire! Sebastian Inlet is definitely one of my favorite places to surf in Florida,” Coluccio told Sebastian Daily.
