Captain Hirams Resort will be hosting an inaugural River Raft Regatta on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 12:00 pm. All proceeds will benefit United Against Poverty of Indian River County.
Registration is free, so get your 4-person team together, build a small watercraft, and cross your fingers that it floats you to the finish line or be a spectator and cheer on your favorite team.
Rules for Teams:
- Teams must have their rafts BUILT BEFORE the EVENT.
- All rafts must be crewed by a 4-person team and built from 100% approved recyclable materials.
- The floatable vessels are required to navigate a watercourse route without leaving any part or parcel of your creation in the lagoon.
The team who crosses the finish line first, with all of the original contents of their vessel and all four team members, will be crowned the Raft Regatta winners.
