The Cumberland Farms in Micco has been shut down temporarily with a letter on the door that only adds to more confusion.
The store, located at 8090 U.S. Highway 1 in Micco, closed without notice last weekend.
“As a result of recent business conditions, we are constantly monitoring the business needs and, if warranted, may alter hours or close a particulate store. We made the decision to temporarily close this store at 8090 US-1 Micco. We hope to return to regular operations as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding,” a note on the door reads.
Sebastian Daily has tried to contact the store and its corporate headquarters to find out more information. We are still waiting on a response from Cumberland Farms.
Some locals thought it might be COVID related, but the letter states “business conditions” and “business needs” for the closure.
Customers are still parking at gas pumps, not realizing the store is closed. Most people don’t know they are closed until they pull on the locked door where the note is attached.
Sebastian Daily will update as soon as more information is available.
