Yet again, a Heat Advisory has been issued for our region, effective until 7 p.m. this Monday. The National Weather Service states that the projected heat index values will range between 108 to 112 degrees.
For those unfamiliar, the Heat Index gauges how humidity impacts the body’s natural cooling mechanism, intensifying the perceived air temperature.
In these conditions, it’s crucial to:
