Boating and weather forecast in Sebastian, Florida.

A few showers in our weather going into Monday, and our boating forecast reveals high winds later in the week in Sebastian, Florida.

The latest weather forecast shows winds out of the northeast at 5 to 10 mph until Wednesday, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Windy conditions will continue into next weekend.

Here’s a look at the daily temperatures (Highs/Lows):

We’ll talk about next weekend’s forecast by Friday. So far, things show a little rain for Friday and Saturday, but we’ll have another forecast later in the week, as anything can change before then.

Boaters

It’s a great week for boating until Wednesday afternoon, when windy conditions return. We could see gusts as high as 20 mph through Saturday.

Also, the fishing has been great, and we’ll have more information posted soon in our Sebastian Inlet Fishing Report.

“Boating conditions will remain favorable through at least Tuesday, then deteriorate in the latter half of the week,” the National Weather Service said.

It’s all about the high winds from Wednesday through Saturday, which can cause choppy waters.

Last Friday, the weather service issued a Fire Weather Watch in Sebastian due to dry conditions. Luckily, there were no fires.

We need rain because the dry conditions and high winds are not a good combination.
