The Florida Highway Patrol said one person was killed early Wednesday morning after the vehicle ran off the road and hit a tree.
The accident occurred at the 12000 block of Roseland Road at approximately 3:35 a.m., the FHP told Sebastian Daily.
Roseland Road was shut down by FHP shortly after the accident.
The person who died was a passenger of a 2012 white Dodge. The person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle was transported to Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne where their condition is unknown.
