The Captain Hirams Resort has upgraded a bar with refinished tables, lighting, ceiling fans, and USB ports. They call it a “facelift,” but it looks completely new.
The ceiling and walls were cleaned, with new signs everywhere, and all the ceiling fans now operate. They also added new overhead lighting giving the area a warm setting.
The bar tops are refinished, and they look like glass. There is also puck lighting installed into the bar that looks great during the day or night.
The surfboard tables are new with a finish. It all looks impressive, and they did an excellent job during the facelift. However, it took a couple of weeks to complete the upgrades.
Now you can charge your mobile phone, laptop, or other devices right at the bar, and there are hooks available for purses and such. It’s a nice touch with the added modern USB ports.
The bar area still has a great food menu and is a family-friendly environment. In addition, live bands play on specific days during the week near the bar area.
The bar is still a favorite hangout for many locals and it has a fantastic view of the water.
