Joseph William Fortier, 94, passed on April 26, 2021, at Silver Spring of Dover. He was born in Dover, New Hampshire, on 11-11-26. Joseph leaves his wife Doris Legere Fortier, where they lived in Snug Harbor Village.
He also leaves a brother, Norman, and his wife, Audrey. Joseph also had four children a daughter Mary, sons Joseph Jr., twins Micheal and Bill, whom he shared with his wife Catherine Henderson, who passed in 1998.
He later moved to Barefoot Bay, where he lived with Bella Briand, and he enjoyed golfing and playing Bingo. Joseph passed surrounded by his loving wife Doris Legere Fortier, her family, and his children.
Doris was his caretaker, with the help of her three children Lynne Golden, Cynthia Legere Harner, and Dennis Legere. Joseph Fortier served 20 years in the Navy. A small service will be held in Dover, N.H.
