Father Francis Eksterowicz was born to Anthony Eksterowicz and Mary (Bozicevich) on August 11, 1937. He was predeceased by his only brother, Anthony Eksterowicz. He leaves behind a niece, Holly Ciampa, and cousins Joanne Boardman and Emileen Klos.

He was a great example of a man that followed God, and there is no doubt his legacy followed him to Heaven. He was very proud of his attendance at the Congregation of the Brothers of the Christian Schools. He was an avid learner and graduated from LaSalle College in Philadelphia with a bachelor’s in Latin education and a Masters in Religion.

He earned a Master’s in French from Middlebury College in Vermont. Then he went on to receive his Master’s in Divinity in 1985. He entered Mount St. Mary’s Seminary for the Burlington, VT Diocese and was ordained by Bishop Marshall. He had a passion to teach and inspire others to live godly lives. His love of God was an inspiration to many.  

He retired to Florida to get out of the cold and enjoyed a quiet retirement in Sebastian, FL. He will be greatly missed.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 13075 US Hwy 1, Sebastian, FL  32958, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m.

Interment will be on October 1, 2024 at 11 am at Queen of Angels Cemetery, 1901 Queen of Angels Drive, Winter Park, FL, 32792.
