SEBASTIAN – The Sebastian Clambake Festival begins today with great weather despite a cold front that’s moving into our area tonight and Saturday.
There’s a small chance of a few fast showers, and highs will be in the lower 80s with a light NNE breeze.
The cold front will move through our area tonight, leaving scattered rain overnight, and possibly a few heavy downpours.
Skies will be mostly cloudy tonight with lows in the upper 60s.
Rain will linger into Saturday morning with just isolated showers during the afternoon. Winds will pickup with frontal passage causing gusty conditions.
Highs on Saturday will be a little cooler, in the upper 70s.
Sebastian Clambake has a lot of new items on the menu this year, including crab cakes. Several bands will be performing throughout the festival.
“It is wonderful to work together as a community for our community,” Sebastian Clambake Foundation president Anjani Cirillo said in a statement. “We are very grateful for our Member Organizations, our sponsors, and all our volunteers. This is a great family event!”
The festival begins at 2:00 p.m. The band Tumbleweed and Hot Pink will be playing today.
