SEBASTIAN – The 26th Annual Pelican Island Wildlife Festival will be Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Riverview Park in Sebastian from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The Pelican Island Wildlife Festival celebrates the anniversary of the establishment of the nation’s first National Wildlife Refuge, on March 14, 1903, by President Theodore Roosevelt! The Pelican Island Preservation Society and the City of Sebastian are hosting this event.
The 26th Annual Pelican Island Wildlife Festival this year celebrates the 115th anniversary of the Pelican Island NWR. President Roosevelt will be there once again as our Master of Ceremonies, to celebrate with gusto, and teach everyone about the history of Pelican Island and his efforts to protect its birds.
President Roosevelt is brought to life for us by the country’s premiere Theodore Roosevelt interpreter, Joe Wiegand, (learn more about Joe at www.teddyrooseveltshow.com).

There is no fee for admission or parking. Boat Tours are $20/adult, $10/child under 10 years (free under 3 years of age) and may be reserved ahead of time by clicking on the link above. Food and drink will be for sale, as well as environmental themed crafts and art.
