The Sebastian River High School Sharks recently celebrated homecoming with a community homecoming parade & pep rally, football game, and an Under the Stars Homecoming Dance.
The SRHS Sharks celebrated with the community at their Homecoming Parade & Community Pep Rally at Riverview Park on Wednesday, October 20th. The parade began at the Main St. boat ramp and headed south down Indian River Dr. towards Riverview Park. Sebastian residents were there to cheer them on along the way!
Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) won 1st Place for their float with support from Mrs. Funnell and John King & family of Re/Max Crown Realty.
The fun continued on Thursday at the annual powder puff football games. First, the juniors beat the seniors, and then the staff showed the juniors no mercy.

On Friday night, the Shark’s football team beat the Westwood Panter’s 17-6. During halftime, the band performed, and the homecoming court and their families were introduced. Then, Principal Cummings crowned Wendy Santiago and Franklin Johnson as king & queen.

The Under the Stars Homecoming Dance was a huge success on Saturday night, with around 700 students in attendance. The students danced the night away!
