Waste Management started delivering a new 96-gallon cart to each residence for the transition to universal curbside collection service beginning July 1. Current subscription customers may receive their new cart before their current cart is removed.
To ensure a smooth transition with Waste Management in Sebastian, customers must place their current cart curbside on all regularly scheduled collection days (empty or full) until the exchange has been completed.
If your current cart has not been removed by June 25, please keep it curbside daily until removal.
Current subscription customers may begin using their new cart garbage cart immediately.
Residents who do not currently receive curbside collection service may begin using their garbage cart when universal service begins on July 1, 2023.
Beginning July 1 only new carts will be serviced. An old cart placed curbside after July 1 will be emptied and removed.
If you would like a second cart, please contact WM at (772) 569-1776. There will be a one- time charge of $87.55 for a second cart.
If residents are not completely satisfied with the standard 96-gallon cart size, they may contact WM beginning October 1, 2023 to request an exchange for a 64-gallon or 35-gallon cart at no additional charge.
