Squid Lips expansion in Sebastian, Florida.

In recent months, residents have asked questions about what’s happening at Squid Lips in Sebastian, Florida. There’s a new parking lot and three buildings under construction.

Known as a restaurant and bar, Squid Lips is expanding and improving its marina office. While the business has made no official announcement, our sources have compiled some pieces of the puzzle.

Their big building project has got a lot of people talking, especially those visiting the city. With three buildings all under construction at once, it’s a site you don’t see often.

The structure closest to the entrance path will soon become the Squid Lips marina office and gift shop.

The building next to it, over the water, will become a new bar. It has a stunning view of the bridge over the Sebastian Inlet and the Indian River Lagoon. There were rumors that this building would become Frigates, a small chain in Melbourne and Palm Beach Gardens. However, our sources tell us that it’s tied to Squid Lips.

Lastly, a third building will house a new BBQ restaurant next to a new parking lot. There’s no information on whether this will be a local establishment or a popular chain.

The pace of the project has been quick, and the local community is growing with excitement for its completion. The surge of construction work at the site has sparked conversations among residents who pass by the establishment.

These developments signal a promising new chapter for one of Sebastian’s best scenic waterfront restaurants. They are casting an even wider net in local dining with the BBQ place.

It will be interesting to see the completed construction of this project. The property itself offers a breathtaking waterfront view.

Each time we dined here, the food was great. We recently arrived at Squid Lips for lunch to try their fresh fish sandwich. They got us hooked after they grilled it on oakwood, as it makes a big difference in taste. If you go there, you should give it a try! We’ve had the salmon and grouper, and both were very delicious.
