U. S. Small Business Administration (SBA) disaster recovery assistance is available to Florida, Indian River County small businesses, small aquacultural cooperatives, small businesses engaged in aquaculture, and most private nonprofit organizations affected by Hurricane Nicole.
SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans are for working capital needs caused by the disaster. Loans are long-term/low-interest, and loan amounts can be up to $2 million.
Working capital loans may be used to pay fixed debts, payroll, accounts payable, and other bills that could have been paid had the disaster not occurred. The loans are not intended to replace lost sales or profits.
Approved loans have a 12-month, 0% interest deferred payment option to further assist with business recovery.
